The Black Stilt Pinot Gris are a dry wine with excellent acidity, aroma and intensity. Complex fruit flavours and aromatics are nicely balanced with a crisp acidity.
Pinot Gris wines from the Waitaki Valley are particularly notable for their acidity and minerality, which allows them to age well and makes them very food friendly wines.

The 2016 Pinot Gris has delectable ginger, white melon, cherry blossom and peach stone aromatics followed by a warm richly textured palate with a soft elegant finish. We think it will be worth the 5 year wait!

The 2011 Pinot Gris is an elegant and refined wine, with pure aromas of Nashi pear, fresh flowers and spice. Concentrated tastes are balanced by fine minerality with a silky texture, and low residual sugar. The wine is packed with pear and herb flavours through to the long, fine, dry finish.
